Sladmore are internationally renowned experts in sculpture, exhibiting work spanning three centuries from the nineteenth century, through to modern, impressionistic, and contemporary sculpture, a cross-section of which is always on display at our central London space. The gallery was established in the 1960’s and is now based on Jermyn Street in London’s fashionable area of St. James’s, nestling amongst world class restaurants and shops. The gallery mounts in-depth exhibitions on individual sculptors, thematic and group shows both figurative and animalier, all with an emphasis on the quality of the casts included. We have a vibrant publishing programme which produces exhibition catalogues, monographs, and reference books on both artistic movements and casting, many written by gallery director Edward Horswell. Sladmore regularly organise loans to major museums across the world, from the Sladmore’s own stock, as well as those of our collectors. The gallery offers a bespoke service, sourcing small and large-scale works for clients and institutions alike. Monumental works of all periods can be seen across many urban and rural landscapes, both private and public, sourced by the gallery and installed by our team of expert handlers.
